禁不起诱惑：今天还是订购了一个 MagicJack
以前试过几个网络电话 VOIP 的产品，象 packet8 （8×8）和 CISCO。后来由于一定要保持一个固话线，就取消所有的 VOIP 服务了。
最近知道又出了一个 VOIP 服务，一年只需 $19 美元，而且第一年包转换器也只要 $40元，心里一直痒痒的。
但是自己的固定座机服务是跟家里的DSL宽带上网以及和安全系统相连通的，短时肯定不会掐断，所以一直犹豫要不要再来个 VOIP 的电话服务。
后来想想本着研究 VOIP 的精神，而且钱打水漂也就是40元，就这样自己还是到MagicJack网站下了蛋了。就等下星期收到那个”神奇”的小插盒，好好试用后再来给大家汇报了。
从网上介绍来看，好像这个Jack VOIP 转换器与我用过的 Packet 8 adapter 不一样。虽然都是一头连 Internet，一头接普通电话，但 MagicJack 用的是 USB 接口，那就说它不能直接连我的路由器，而只能连电脑。这也就意味着我的电脑必须24小时开着了。不知道是不是这么回事？

This Magic Jack is not all its is saying!!!!
I have tested it at 22:00 california time and dial out 50 numbers and possibly more and none of them came through except one 1 800 number (Not all 1800 number go through). At first I thought it was my network so I try calling the number asssigned by MagicJack, and succeed in calling in. Now I realized that Magic Jack only works sometimes and it is not all it is saying!!!

Actually I got a notice from MagicJack yesterday to ask me restart the program since they were upgrading the network. But I could not make any calls since then. I will give you any updates if I have any.

MJ is tied to your computer, but you don’t have to keep it on 24/7 if you only use it to call out. My suggestion is to keep your existing line and use MJ for long distance call and travel call.
