Delta Air Lines intends to submit an application to the DOT for route authority to begin daily nonstop service between

Shanghai

. Among the many things the DOT will consider in awarding the route is the level of civic support - another words how many people in the community support Delta’s bid for China service - in this case, the community comprises Atlanta, the State of Georgia and the entire Southeast US.
